The Grevillea is a brightly coloured, petal-less flower native to Australia. With common names including spider flower, silky oak and toothbrush plant, it is bound to be full of character to photograph. Walking around the neighbourhood during lockdown, Victoria focussed on the detail of a calyx tube that splits into 4 lobes with long styles. The richness of reds and yellows against a dark green background, no wonder they are good bird-attracting plants, especially the Honeyeaters.
The HEART IN MY LIFE gallery is numbered 1 to 7. Please state your number in the email if you are interested in purchasing one. All artworks are available in Small $250 and Medium $500 unframed with a white border.
